Sectors in s26 (GTAP-Invest aggregation)
Aggregate string: v12_s26_r50 (used in combination with r50 regions)
This is the 26-sector aggregation used by GTAP-Invest. Each of the 65 v12 sectors (same set as v11) maps to exactly one s26 sector. Labels/names below were extracted from the gtapv7_c26_* columns of an *_extended.csv produced by the GTAP-Invest econ extraction pipeline.

22 of the 26 sectors are 1:1 passthroughs from v12 (same code, same name). The remaining 4 — PFD, P_C, MNF, SER — are aggregations across multiple v12 sectors and account for 43 of the 65 v12 codes.

Notes on the v12 → s26 mapping
- Crops (12):
pdr,wht,gro,v_f,osd,c_b,pfb,ocr,ctl,oap,rmk,wolall pass through 1:1, preserving the full agriculture detail GTAP-Invest needs for the SEALS land-use coupling. - Extraction (6):
frs,fsh,coa,oil,gas,oxtall pass through 1:1. Note thatoxtis the v12 name (wasomn“Minerals nec” in earlier versions); the s26 name “Minerals nec” follows the older convention. - Meat and dairy (3):
cmt,omt,milpass through 1:1;mil(Dairy products) is separate fromrmk(Raw milk). - PFD “Processed food” aggregates vegetable oils & fats (
vol), processed rice (pcr), sugar (sgr), other food (ofd), and beverages & tobacco (b_t). - P_C “Refined petroleum” is the v12
p_c“Petroleum, coal products” — same content, renamed. - MNF “Manufactures” aggregates all 18 secondary-manufacturing sectors (textiles through other manufactures).
- ELY “Electricity” is kept separate (energy detail), while all other service / utility / infrastructure sectors aggregate into SER.
- SER “Services” aggregates 19 sectors covering gas distribution, water, construction, trade, transport (land/water/air/warehousing), communication, finance/insurance, real estate, business and recreational services, government, education, health, and dwellings.
